About The Owners
Tim has spent most of his life working in the construction industry. He grew up in the painting profession learning how to paint before he was 10 years old. Through the years he mastered the skills of a professional painter and gained knowledge in many other areas of construction. His experience includes but is not limited to sheetrock work, framing houses, installing tile, carpet and hardwood. Tim has even owned his own cabinet shop where he built and installed custom cabinets and solid surface counter tops. Throughout the years the main thing that kept drawing him back to the construction trade was the satisfaction from creating something with your own hands. He has always taken pride in his work and strives to always do the best job possible.
Tim instilled this same work ethic and love of creating something yourself into his son Micheal. Micheal grew up experiencing many aspects of construction as well. He has spent many hours on the job site with his dad and together they have tackled some of the toughest of projects. During the years they have both followed different career paths outside of construction. Tim eventually completed his master’s degree at Vanderbilt and became a Family Nurse Practitioner. Tim has also served in the Army Reserves for almost 20 years and currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Micheal worked his way through law school graduating from Nashville School of Law in 2016. He is a founding partner of Perkins and Jones, PLLC, Attorneys at Law, a successful law practice in Murfreesboro, TN. While these career paths are far from their roots in construction, they demonstrate their willingness to work hard and see any task to completion. It is that same determination and desire to succeed they bring to their partnership First Class Contractors, LLC.
